In 2005, When Somebody Loves You Back began out of pure necessity. It began with an idea, a determined couple and the drive to help whoever we could. Through the years we have worked with thousands of people in our communities. We started in a little town called Pittsburg and we put our whole hearts into it. We were blessed to work with youth at risk of gang activity, of being sex trafficked and at risk of homelessness. Our Community assistance consisted of homeless, disabled persons, lower income families and individuals. We implemented programs, assisted with job search and prep. We encouraged and taught life skills entrepreneurship, furthering of education, as well as hosted clothes, toys and food pantries. Today we still lead with our hearts and know it's not hard work that we do but heart work.
At When Somebody Loves You Back, we strive to connect individuals in need with the resources that can assist them in their next step of action. Our goal is to empower our community through compassion and support.
Over the years, When Somebody Loves You Back has grown from a small group of volunteers to a respected organization with a wide range of programs and services. We are proud to have helped thousands of individuals and families in need.
At When Somebody Loves You Back, we measure our success by the impact we have on the lives of those we serve. We are proud to have made a positive difference in our community and beyond.
